LPG tank (cylinder) with multivalve and filling indicator. The CAMPKO refillable gas bottle made of solid steel was developed for permanent installation in motorhomes, camper vans or caravans. It has a high safety standard and is certified in accordance with ECE 67R-01.
The CAMPKO refillable gas cylinder is installed in the gas locker and thus serves as a refillable camper propane tank.
It can be installed individually or as a multi-bottle system.
Includes:
- manometer type filling level indicator
- overfill valve that limits the nominal capacity to 80%
- safety valve - max 27 bar
Filling can be done as follows:
- directly into the cylinder by using an extension cord and a specific adapter that must be purchased separately
- through the filling mouth (not included in the package) that can be installed on the vehicle wall or on the service door
What is the difference between standard and refillable gas cylinders?
The CAMPKO refillable LPG cylinder / tank is equipped with an overfill protection mechanism that prevents excessive filling by limiting it to 80% of the total capacity. If the cylinder is filled above this level, under certain conditions (e.g. excessive heat) there is a risk that the liquefied gas inside will expand and damage the valves, taps, filters, etc. or even explode. The 80% safety level is not possible to control in the case of a classic cylinder that is filled with LPG in an artisanal way.
