Refillable LPG tank (cylinder) made of aluminum 33,3/26,7 l with multivalve and filling indicator - Alugas
The ALUGAS TRAVELMate is the LPG tank for motorhomes, camper vans and caravans that can be safely retrofitted by workshops in a short space of time. The highlight of the refillable gas bottle is that campers can leave the Europe-wide complex system of exchanging heavy gas bottles behind and refuel with LPG freely and flexibly at any petrol station. This not only saves them travelling to the DIY store, but above all gives them freedom and flexibility. The cylinder can simply be refuelled at any filling level. This means that before the campers want to be self-sufficient on the road, the LPG tank is filled up again. This puts an end to worrying about the remaining gas and the space-consuming reserve bottle.

Description
The Alugas TravelMate refillable gas cylinder is supplied pre-assembled with a so-called multivalve. In addition to all the necessary safety features, the valve also offers the so-called 80% fill stop, which makes refilling possible at any fill level. In addition, the fill level indicator attached to the valve provides information about the current fill level in the bottle.
Includes:
- manometer type filling level indicator
- overfill valve that limits the nominal capacity to 80%
- safety valve - max 27 bar
Filling can be done as follows:
- directly into the cylinder by using an extension cord and a specific adapter that must be purchased separately
- through the filling mouth (not included in the package) that can be installed on the vehicle wall or on the service door
What is the difference between standard and refillable gas cylinders?
The AluGas refillable LPG cylinder / tank is equipped with an overfill protection mechanism that prevents excessive filling by limiting it to 80% of the total capacity. If the cylinder is filled above this level, under certain conditions (e.g. excessive heat) there is a risk that the liquefied gas inside will expand and damage the valves, taps, filters, etc. or even explode. The 80% safety level is not possible to control in the case of a classic cylinder that is filled with LPG in an artisanal manner.
